The wastes collected at the port operation site are loaded and transported using Akfen Environment and Water teams and equipment, and licensed vehicles holding Waste Transportation Licenses transport them to licensed storage areas in the region for recycling and disposal purposes.
The follow-up of all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes at the port as per their quantities, types, and volumes and the regular reporting thereof to the port operator are carried out by Akfen Environment and Water.
The provisions of Waste Management Regulation and Zero Waste Regulation are implemented at every stage of Waste Management processes.
